The CABSAT 2026 conference is scheduled for October 5-7 in Dubai, and it is poised to serve as an event where MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems will place a large spotlight on an expanded technology portfolio that brings MRMC’s camera robotics and motion control technologies alongside MultiDyne’s fiber transport, camera connectivity and IP offerings.
MRMC is known by many as Mark Roberts Motion Control, and the company has developed a global reputation for its robotic camera systems, motion control and automated tracking technologies for broadcast, film, sports and live production. With MultiDyne’s recent purchase of MRMC, it established “MultiDyne Robotics and Motion Control Limited.”
The two portfolios address complementary parts of the production chain. MRMC technology moves, positions and automates cameras, while MultiDyne transports and manages the video, audio, communications and data those cameras generate.
“The MRMC acquisition gives us a much broader set of technologies to address different requirements across the production chain,” said Sebastian Mucha, Executive VP of Sales and Strategy at MultiDyne. “A customer may need robotics and automation, additional camera connectivity, higher-capacity fiber transport, IP infrastructure or a combination of those capabilities. The important thing is that they can add what makes sense for their production environment without having to rethink everything around it.”
At CABSAT, the company will demo its SilverBack-IP fiber camera adapter, which brings native SMPTE ST 2110 connectivity to digital cinema camera workflows, giving production teams an opportunity to integrate their preferred cinema cameras directly into IP production environments.
MultiDyne will also highlight the VF-9100, the latest generation of its VersaFrame fiber transport platform. Designed for hybrid SDI/IP facilities, the VF-9100 introduces “a redesigned architecture, greater processing capacity, expanded modularity and native RESTful API support.” This, the company says. allows monitoring, configuration and diagnostics to be integrated more easily with network management and facility control systems while providing a practical bridge between established baseband infrastructure and IP-based workflows.
MultiDyne will also show its new MDoG-8800 eight-channel 12G fiber transport module for the openGear ecosystem. Designed for high-density 4K and 8K workflows, the module combines flexible internal routing with a choice of fiber-per-signal or integrated CWDM configurations.
The expanded portfolio is particularly relevant in the Middle East, MultiDyne says, where broadcasters, sports organizations, production companies and major entertainment venues continue to invest in new production infrastructure and capabilities.
