Bongino Is Back On Radio, Thanks To Westwood One

Dan Bongino is headed back to radio, and he’ll be part of a new three-hour offering being distributed through the national radio arm of the broadcast licensee nearly ready to emerge from voluntary debtor-in-possession status with more than 30% of its voting interest going to the man behind notorious newspaper publisher Alden Global Capital.

Bongino will team up with Shawn Farash for a freshly conceived weekday program to be offered to radio stations by Cumulus Media-owned Westwood One.

The offering is Bongino’s first regular return to the airwaves since leaving his nationally syndicated show in 2024 for a stint in the Trump Administration as FBI Deputy Director. He exited that role in January to return to a daily podcast distributed by Cumulus.

Dubbed The Bongino Report PM, the show is not a continuation of his previous nationally syndicated program, The Dan Bongino Show.

The Bongino Report PM will split its three hours between Bongino and Farash, with the latter host handling the first hour live by focusing on the day’s headlines, audience interaction, and commentary. Bongino will take over for the final two hours with analysis of politics, current events, culture, and other stories driving the national conversation.

“I’m excited to partner with Shawn to bring listeners a daily program focused on the stories that matter most,” Bongino said. “Our goal is simple: deliver honest analysis and keep our audience informed and engaged. Radio remains one of the most powerful ways to connect directly with people, and I’m excited to be back on Westwood One.”

Farash added, “This is an incredible opportunity for me to connect with listeners across the country every day. Working alongside Dan and the team at Westwood One allows us to bring a fresh, energetic approach to afternoons while staying focused on the stories our audience cares about most.”

For Westwood One President Collin Jones, “The Bongino Report PM brings together two distinctive voices with strong audience appeal and creates a compelling new destination for afternoon radio. Dan Bongino and Shawn Farash each bring a passionate following, and we are thrilled to offer affiliates a dynamic program that delivers timely content and engages listeners in afternoon drive.”
