Beasley Partners On Podcasts With Amazon To Build Digital Dollars

It is a primary goal of the Caroline Beasley-helmed Beasley Media Group to bring a bevy of digital dollars to a company that is selling its radio stations in its home market of Fort Myers-Naples while owning one of the nation’s biggest revenue-generating — and expense-creating — radio stations in “The Sports Hub.”

An Amazon-owned company is being tasked to help Beasley in becoming a more digitally focused media entity.

Beasley on Thursday entered an agreement with ART19, creating a new alliance that will see Beasley’s “growing portfolio of podcasts” and on-demand radio shows migrate to ART19’s “enterprise-grade infrastructure.”

For Beasley, this is a move designed to bring new revenue opportunities and offer advertisers enhanced reach, deeper analytics, and improved ROI. Beasley Chief Content Officer Justin Chase explains, “This partnership is an important step in our digital transformation. ART19’s platform will help us expand monetization opportunities while delivering a better experience for audiences and advertisers.”

ART19’s Head of Partnerships Andy Slater added, “Beasley is a heritage broadcasting company and we are excited to offer them enterprise-level tools to more efficiently manage, distribute and monetize their podcast network. This partnership combines Beasley’s premium content with ART19’s advanced hosting, analytics, and monetization tools to drive podcast growth, innovation and revenue, benefitting their creators and advertisers alike.”

MOORE TO PROGRAM HERALDED COUNTRY PROPERTY

As Beasley Media Group seeks to build its digital dollars, the company’s broadcast radio stations remain the cash generation giant by platform. As such, strong programming matters, and it is calling on Cameron Moore to bring more ratings riches to the sales executives at Country WSOC-FM in Charlotte.

Moore, the Program Director of Top 40 WNKS “Kiss 95.1,” is adding PD duties at WSOC. She’s been with Beasley Media Group since 2017, and became Kiss PD in 2021.
