New banking regulations were less onerous than Wall Street had expected, so bank stocks moved up on Monday and the rest of the market followed. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 109 points, or 0.9%, at 12,044. Broadcasting stocks also had a good day.
The RBR Radio Index was up 3.738, or 1.1%, to 358.129.
The TVBR Television Index was up 3.638, or 1.4%, to 268.222.
