One Lucky Fan Will Win a Trip To Attend One of the Final Tapings of “As The World Turns”. CBS’s AS THE WORLD TURNS and cbs.com are launching a contest to find the biggest fan of the long-running daytime drama. Fans of the show are encouraged to upload their contest entries to CBS.com that consist of their thoughts, in 500 words, or less which reveal why they are the show’s most dedicated fan. A panel of judges from AS THE WORLD TURNS will judge the entries, and select the one lucky fan who will win a trip for two to New York City. Included are two-night hotel accommodations, ground transportation and a visit to JC Studios to see one of the final tapings of the 54-year-old show.
Beginning Thursday, May 13 at 12:00 Noon PT, viewers can go to Ultimate Fan to upload their contest entries in 500 words or less. The upload period ends on Thursday, June 3 at 11:59:59 PM PT. The winner will be notified by Monday, June 7 by the AS THE WORLD TURNS panel of judges and will be flown to New York to attend a taping of the show during the week of June 14.
