And it was particularly good on the radio side, led by a resurgent Cumulus, which approached a double-digit gain. Television stocks enjoyed a decent gain as well, with Entravision leading the way on that side of the broadcast divide.
The RBR Radio Index rose 9.093, or 1.2%, to 749.941.
The TVBR Television Index rose 3.317, or 0.3%, to 970.057.
