AMG Offerings Arrive On Amazon Fire TV

BURBANK, CALIF. — It’s no secret that free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channels are gaining in popularity. Among the companies banking on big, fast growth is the media operation owned by Byron Allen. As of today, three Allen Media Group streaming brands are now available on one of the biggest FAST channel platforms in the U.S.


Amazon’s Fire TV Channels lineup now for Fire TV and Echo Show device customers now includes AMG’s Local Now FAST channels, The Weather Channel en Español, and 21 Allen Media Broadcasting local television stations.

Local Now FAST Channels offer curated 24/7 local news and entertainment in 223 markets.

As AMG explains, Local Now FAST Channels are powered by proprietary technology that populates news content daily from newsrooms across the country and aggregates video stories every day. The channels are curated by the Local Now newsroom.

AMG’s broadcast television station division is comprised of 28 “big four” network affiliate broadcast television stations in 21 television markets across the country.
