That’s not exactly true – there are many broadcast issues percolating at the Commission, particularly the incentive auction. However, there are no broadcast-related items on the January Open Meeting agenda.
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday 1/29/15 at 10:30 eastern.
The items that will be addressed involve pinpointing the source of 911 calls and the new consumer help center.
The January meeting typically includes presentations from various FCC bureaus and the like detailing what they did in 2014 and what they’re looking at doing in 2015 – there is no mention on the just-released sunshine notice of any such reports.
