A trio of radio brands formerly owned by Fisher Broadcasting and sold to Lotus Seattle Corporation by Sinclair Inc. has a new General Manager. At the same time, the Lotus Communications arm has selected a new Director of Operations & Brand Management.

As of today, Andrew Adams is the GM of Conservative Talk KVI-AM, KNWN-AM & FM “Northwest Newsradio” and KPLZ-FM “101.5 HANK FM” in the Pacific Northwest’s largest market. He arrives from Spokane, where he led a six-station group of radio stations for Stephens Media Group.

“Andrew is a positive and supportive leader who is deeply focused on helping people succeed,” said Jim Kalmenson, COO of Lotus Communications. “His management style centers on supporting sellers, strengthening teams, and building smart, effective creative packages that help advertisers achieve real results. Radio has been part of Andrew’s life for decades. He started in the business while attending his alma mater, the University of Texas at Austin, and has continued in the industry ever since. He truly cares about our industry and believes deeply in what we do.”

It is a return to Seattle for Adams, as he previously managed the stations owned by Salem Media Group from 2010 to 2023.

Meanwhile, KPLZ and KTHI-FM in Boise, Idaho Program Director and Lotus Seattle Marketing and Promotions Director Jeff Connell is being promoted to Director of Operations and Brand Management for Lotus Seattle.

Kalmenson calls Connell “an integral part of the Seattle team” who has played a key role at building HANK FM’s audience following its format change from Hot Adult Contemporary.

Connell has been commuting between Seattle and Boise and will relinquish his Boise duties in early summer as he transitions full-time to Seattle.
