His name is familiar to most Americans, but this individual is a lawyer who holds a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and has more than two decades of experience in private practice and trade associations.
Now, he’s joined Fletcher, Heald & Hildreth, the prestigious Arlington, Va., law firm with a communications team that includes Francisco Montero, as Counsel.
The role is being given to Adam Sandler. “I operate at the intersection of law, policy, and business strategy—advising organizations on regulatory impact and developing advocacy strategies that drive durable business successes,” Sandler says. “I bring a unique combination of experience as a law firm attorney, industry association executive, and principal advisor to media, telecom, and technology clients, with a history of leading successful advocacy efforts and building coalitions that deliver meaningful policy and business results.”
Sandler arrives from Pillsbury Law, where he previously served as an attorney. He joined the practice in May 2022, after serving as a Special Counsel to Wilkinson Barker Knauer.
Sandler is also a former VP of the Nevada Broadcasters Association, holding that role from 2003-2014.
At FHH, Sandler will advise clients on FCC licensing, compliance, transactions, and advocacy before Congress, state legislatures, and federal and state agencies.
