Ad Spend Is Slowing Down, GroupM and Magna Share

As Monday morning began in Australia and New Zealand, MAGNA released the December 2022 update to its 2023 Global Ad Forecast, teased at Forecast 2023 in New York on November 15 by EVP/Managing Partner of Global Market Intelligence Vincent Létang.


Hours later, groupM‘s “This Year Next Year” global end-of-year forecast was shared by Olivia Morley of Adweek. 

What’s the key takeaway? The U.S. outpaced the rest of planet Earth in 2022. But, the totals groupM came up with were lower than what it projected six months ago.
