A Vermont State Senator Signs Off On Radio Cluster Capture

He’s the Clerk of the Senate Committee on Transportation for the State of Vermont and also chairs the state’s Senate Committee on Institutions. With the FCC’s blessing, you can soon call Russ Ingalls a broadcast licensee, too.


Ingalls, who is 60 years of age and has enjoyed a career in real estate, has formed Green Mountain Broadcasters along with 49% equity interest holder Deborah McCormick.

With Mark Denbo of Smithwick & Belendiuk serving as his legal counsel, GMB is acquiring two AMs, five FMs (plus its FM booster) and an FM translator from Vermont Broadcast Associates Inc.

The properties are:

A $996,000 purchase price has been agreed upon by the parties; a $20,000 monthly LMA payment will be applied to the total price Ingalls is paying for the stations.
