A Third CES Tour for Paul and Fred Jacobs?

Given the response and interest they’ve had to their exclusive tours for radio broadcasters at the Consumer Electronics Show, Paul and Fred Jacobs of Jacobs Media are “seriously considering” adding a third tour.

The custom-curated tours organized by the brothers, longtime programming consultants in the radio industry, are open to all radio industry CEOs, GMs, Program Directors, Digital Managers, and those who may work in an affiliated business with ties to Radio.

“If you are planning to attend, we are willing to add a third tour,” they said on Monday (11/14).

In the coming weeks, the Jacobs brothers will be announcing the companies/exhibits that will be included on their curated CES tours. “We can tell you Google, Amazon Alexa Auto, and several car companies are already locked in,” they said. “Moreover, we’re excited about a few surprises. In other words, we will be seeing and hearing from brands that will have some kind of impact on the radio business in the years ahead.”

Jacobs Media enjoys an official tour status with the CES organizer, the Consumer Technology Association.  As such, they’ll be able to “jump the lines” when necessary, gaining close-up access to the exhibits, and speaking directly with company experts. “We will have a CES professional leading our tours, providing insight and answering your questions,” the Jacobs brothers said. “They have a strong understanding of radio and are able to connect new technologies with the challenges and opportunities our industry is facing.”

CES 2023 is scheduled from Thursday, Jan. 5, 2023 through Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Jacobs events begin on January 4, with a private dinner and welcome remarks from NAB CEO Curtis LeGeyt at the Capital Grille. “In addition, we will have a speaker from CTA providing us with their overview of CES and what we should expect,” the Jacobs brothers note.

Those who sign up for the tour will get, among other things, an invitation to a private cocktail party for radio broadcasters presented by Quu, Beasley Media Group, Benztown, vCreative, Xperi, Skyview Networks, Radio Ink, and Radio + Television Business Report.

This is scheduled for January 5, 2023 at the Bellagio.

“As CES veterans, we have learned that each year introduces us to new ideas, visionary thinking, innovations, and new opportunities,” Fred and Paul Jacobs conclude. “This amazing event also brings serendipity and surprise. That is why CES has become the mandatory way we start out each new year.”
