A Texas Panhandle Chevy Dealer Buys Another FM

In late August, RBR+TVBR first reported on the acquisition of a Class C3 FM and its 250-watt Class D AM buy a buyer that’s “driven,” as the newly formed media company is led by the owner of a Chevrolet dealership in Stratford, Tex.

Now, Corey Naugle is adding another FM station — this one some 75 miles southeast of Stratford — to his newly formed Driven Media.

For $80,000, KQTY-FM 106.7 in Borger, Tex., is being purchased from Zia Radio Group.

Zia Managing Member Rick Keefer signed off on the deal, which would make KQTY a sibling of KDDD-AM 800 and KDDD-FM 95.3 in Dumas, Tex., which Driven is purchasing for $280,000 from Southwest Media Group.
