A Taylor Made Deal In Miami For Landis

0

An AM/FM combo in Miami that reaches nearby cities in Kansas and Missouri is being sold. That’s Miami, Okla., of course. And, the deal is “Taylor Made” for the buyer, Michael Landis.

His Land Go Radio Group LLC is agreeing to acquire Class A KGLC-FM 100.9 in Miami, Okla., and 1kw Class B KVIS-AM 910, with 3 towers serving Miami, from Taylor Made Broadcasting Network.

While KVIS offers a Southern Gospel format, KGLC airs Country music and “Tradio” on-air swap shop programming that was once a staple of small-town radio. KGLC also takes pride in being a radio station serving travelers along the fabled decommissioned U.S. Route 66.

A $100,000 purchase price has been agreed to. All of the funds are due to Taylor Made at closing.

Signing off on the sale for Taylor Made is Mark T. Linn, whose legal counsel in this transaction is Lauren Lynch Flick of Pillsbury Law.
