A Red Wednesday For Radio Stocks

Some of the nation’s biggest publicly traded radio broadcasting companies withered on Wall Street in Wednesday’s session.

Among the companies seeing declines: Urban One, Beasley and iHeartMedia.

For Urban One, a 9.7% drop in share value was experienced, bringing UONE to $1.21.

Then, there is lightly traded Beasley Media Group, which saw a 31-cent loss and finished the day at $2.31.

For iHeart, shares are now at $6.22, off 4 cents.

Those prices still beat where Entercom sits. While its shares were up $0.0104 on Wednesday, that brings ETM to just $1.01 per share.

At the Valero gas station on Higuera Street in San Luis Obispo, Calif., one gallon is presently $2.73.
