Leon Williamson has been elevated from SVP of Sales to Indianapolis Market President for iHeartMedia.
This puts Williamson in charge of five stations (Q-95, Indy 103.3, Real 98.3, Fox Sports 1260, and Business News 97.5).
As Market President, Williamson will continue to report to John Beck, Area President for St. Louis and Indianapolis.
“Leon is a solid and very thoughtful leader,” Beck said. “In his nearly two years at iHeartMedia Indianapolis, Leon has done a fantastic job building a solid team and fostering a deep connection with the Indy community. We are excited to have him at the helm in Indianapolis, continuing to drive our success and innovation.”
A long-time radio veteran, Williamson also served as Sales Manager and Account Manager at iHeartMedia in Miami, for Urban One in St. Louis and at Cox Media Group in Miami-Fort Lauderdale.
