Cox Media Group has named a Director of Digital Content for Radio, an individual who will oversee digital content and develop an audience growth strategy that uses the company’s apps, social media, website, streaming, digital assets, and content while also creating new
strategies and partnerships to expand CMG’s digital audience for its terrestrial radio properties.

Earning the role is Tyler Moody, who served as a VP of CNN Radio and VP of Sales with CNN Newsource before he created the WarnerMedia Podcast Network.

He’s also well-known for his time at KOA/Denver, where he served as Asst. News Director and Executive Producer of Colorado’s Morning News for the iHeartMedia News/Talk station from 2001-2005.

That’s when he joined CNN, and exited the Warner Media family in February 2021.

“Radio is my first love, and I’m thrilled to be working at the intersection of broadcast radio and digital platforms,” said Moody, who began his career as a producer for WLUP-FM in Chicago in 1993.

“Tyler’s background is simply impressive, and his experience will help revolutionize our company-wide digital content strategy,” said Chris Eagan, CMG Radio’s VP of Audience and Operations. “We have best-in-class radio stations, and Tyler will bring new audiences to our brands via our array of digital assets.”

Since leaving WarnerMedia, Tyler has been a consultant helping media organizations
enhance their digital strategies.
