The Dow 30 finished the day at 28,606.31, up 112.11 points, while Nasdaq declined by 42.31 points, to 11,671.56.
How did radio and TV companies fare?
Cumulus Media was down 7 cents to $5.11, while Beasley Media Group gained three cents, to finish the week at $1.34.
Entercom shares are at $1.54, up 7 cents from Thursday’s closing bell.
Meanwhile, Entravision gained 8 cents to $2.10 on word that it is taking a majority stake in digital ad player Cisneros Interactive.
Rounding out the radio companies is iHeartMedia, rising 17 cents to $8.10.
On the TV side, Nexstar Media Group is at $88.03, off 26 cents. Gray Television sits at $13.15, off 4 cents.
Lastly, Sinclair Broadcast Group is at $18.40, rising 11 cents.
