A Missouri AM Ready For New Ownership

It is a 1kw Class C facility on the AM band that offers residents of a Mid-Missouri town St. Louis Blues hockey coverage, St. Louis Cardinals baseball games, University of Missouri sports and is a sibling to the “Your World Today” local news brand.

Soon, it will have different ownership.

KSMO Media, a 50/50 partnership between Kenneth Perzan Jr. and Benjamin Granowski, is agreeing to acquire KSMO-AM 1340 in Salem, Mo., from KSMO Enterprises, an entity led by Stanley Podorski.

With veteran Washington, D.C., attorney Gregg Skall of Telecommunications Law Professionals PLLC serving as Podorski’s legal counsel, a LMS filing made Wednesday (4/16) shows the buyers agreeing to pay $1,000 for the AM while assuming Podorski’s note with Intercounty Electric with a term of 10 years and an interest rate of 1%. The note is secured by equipment linked to an FM translator presently associated with KSMO-AM that is not included in the asset purchase agreement.
