One is a Class C3 FM serving Hannibal, Mo., from the west. The other FM is a Class B1 serving Hannibal from the east, along with Quincy, Ill.
Both are being spun by Larry Bostwick, putting “The Oldies Superstation” in new hands.
WPWQ-FM 106.7 in Mount Sterling, Ill., and KWBZ-FM 107.5 in Monroe City, Mo., are being spun to Terry Black-owned Lake Gem Productions.
The transaction includes the station’s transmitters and studio equipment, but not the seller’s accounts receivables.
The agreed-on price is $350,000, with a $315,000 payment due at closing. A $35,000 earnest money deposit has already been made by the buyer.
