BOCA RATON, FLA. — Just like “real” radio stations, student-run broadcast facilities such as WKPX-FM 88.5 in Sunrise, Fla., a split operation between Piper High School and Nova Southeastern University, need to ensure proper maintenance of their required online public inspection files.
The same can be said for WVUM-FM 90.5 in Coral Gables, the student-run station owned by the University of Miami, and many other facilities across the U.S. To help maintain compliance, a Fairfax, Va.-based company has teamed up with College Inc. on a project designed to guide these baby radio operators.
