Paperwork has been submitted with the FCC that seeks regulatory approval for a transaction in which a FM radio station licensed to Rockdale, Tex., will be transferred to the Cowboy Broadcasting Network from its current licensee.

KRXT-FM is being sold to Cowboy by KRXT Inc., an operation led by Charles W. McGregor.

The proposed buyer is a 50/50 partnership between Stephen Laukhuf and Jim Schwertner, who are based in Lexington, Tex.

A $220,000 purchase price has been agreed to by the parties.

KRXT airs a Classic Country format and airs Texas State Network “TSN News” at the top of the hour.
