Hubbard Radio has brought back a former Alexandria operations manager to run the shop. Kris Valentine returns as General Manager of its Alexandria and Wadena, MN stations after a stop at Leighton Broadcasting, and he and Chelsea Valentine are restarting their morning show on KIKV-FM.
Hubbard’s brands include KIKV-FM, COOL 94.3 (KULO-FM), Superstation K106 (KKWS-FM), The Fan (KNSP-AM), KWAD-AM, and 2060 Digital.
Valentine returns after most recently serving as Director of Country Programming for Leighton Broadcasting, where he also hosted afternoon drive on the Kris & Chelsea Show. From 2020 to 2023, he was Operations Manager for Hubbard Radio’s Alexandria and Wadena markets and co-host of the Kris & Chelsea Morning Show on KIKV-FM. He has also been on the air in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Denver, Portland, and Seattle. He will again host mornings with Chelsea Valentine on KIKV-FM.
