White Hot: Sinclair Inks Heat TV Deal For Palm Beaches

DELRAY BEACH, FLA. — Nearly one year ago, the Miami Heat NBA franchise and Berkshire Hathaway’s unaffiliated WPLG-10 in Miami unveiled a deal that made “LOCAL 10” the local home of a small slate of team games. It’s the official broadcast home for the 2026-2027 season, too, adding more games to the slate. This left an opportunity open for a West Palm Beach DMA station to partner with BH Media. Sinclair Inc. obliged.

With the 2026-2027 starting on Tuesday, the National Basketball Association team reached a broadcast partnership agreement with WTCN-CD in Palm Beach, Fla., marketed as “My15” thanks to its heritage MVPD dial position as Cable Channel 15.

It’s a one-season agreement, and officially commences with a pre-season matchup in Orlando versus the Magic on Friday (10/16).

WTCN will broadcast between 67-69 games (pending the NBA Cup schedule), extending the WPLG package to areas between Boca Raton and Sebastian, including Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River and Okeechobee Counties.

Heat telecasts are lead by Eric Reid, John Crotty, Jason Jackson, Amy Audibert and Will Manso.

“We’re thrilled to bring Miami HEAT basketball to fans across the Palm Beaches and Treasure Coast, with My15 serving as the team’s new television home in the West Palm Beach market,” said Vincent Sollecito, VP/GM of Sinclair’s three stations in West Palm Beach, which also include full-power WPEC-12 and WTVX “CW34.”

He continued, “With a championship tradition, legendary leadership and an exciting roster, the HEAT bring an incredible level of excitement to South Florida. We’re proud to give local fans free, over-the-air access to the team they love while creating new opportunities for our advertisers and community partners. South Florida is HEAT territory, and we’re excited to bring the action home.”

Radio coverage continues on Good Karma Brands’ WESP-FM 106.3 “ESPN West Palm” and, en español, on WEFL “ESPN Deportes 760.”
