The 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs are underway, and the National Hockey League has invested in a significant way in Spot Cable to help build its fan base and viewing audience across the MVPD-distributed networks bringing post-season excitement to those across the U.S.
As shown below, the NHL accounted for just shy of 100,000 spots detected on the cable TV networks measured by Media Monitors for the week ending April 19.
While that’s a short-term effort tied to the playoffs’ opening round, it nevertheless surpassed the spot count totals for Liberty Mutual Insurance, Burger King and Coca-Cola, the companies that invested in more than 60,000 spot cable avails.

How does the Spot Ten Cable report compare to that of Spot TV?
Again, Progressive is consistent across both media, while footwear brand Skechers can also been seen across both Spot TV and Spot Cable.
