On March 14, 2025, Alexandra Communications agreed to purchase three FM radio stations in Eastern Oregon from Pacific Empire Radio Corp. Now, Alexandra — a licensee led by Tom and Cheryl Hodgins — has decided to sell one of those recently acquired properties.
Who’s the buyer of “98.7 The Ranch”?
Look no further than Randy McKone, who signed off on an agreement in January to acquire KLBM-AM in LaGrande, Ore., and KBKR-AM & KKBC-FM in Baker, Ore., via his KJDY LLC.
Now, KJDY LLC is moving ahead with a purchase from Alexandra of KUBQ-FM 98.7 in Lostine, Ore.
A $110,000 deal was reached on April 9 and submitted on Wednesday for regulatory approval by the FCC.
At closing, $20,000 will be paid to the sellers. The balance will be honored by Promissory Note, bearing 5.75% interest in payable in 48 monthly payments of $1,000, with a balloon payment at the end of the regular term.
Serving as the seller’s broker is MCH Enterprises, led by Brett E. Miller.
