David and Penny Drucker Add A Bay Area LPTV Property

Over the years, David and Penny Drucker have bought and sold broadcast television stations, including the divestment at the end of 2023 of a low-power TV station in Anchorage. Now, the Druckers are in the news again for their agreement to acquire a low-power television station serving the San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose market.

It’s a station that in August 2024 was supposed to have been acquired by Scott Centers.

The facility is KPJC-LD 11 in San Francisco, which Centers-led DRC Broadcast Innovations LLC had agreed to acquire from Jeff Chang for $500,000 in a transaction that saw Scott Barbee of Sterling BCG serve as Chang’s broker.

That deal was never consummated, allowing the Druckers via their Denver Digital Television LLC to step in and make a new offer that’s just been signed by Chang.

This deal, agreed to on February 13, will see Chang retain his $500,000 asking price, with a $25,000 deposit being paid by the Druckers via wire transfer.

Serving as Chang’s legal counsel in this transaction is Kathleen Victory of Fletcher Heald & Hildreth.
