WASHINGTON, D.C. — House Energy and Commerce Committee Ranking Member Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-N.J.), Communications and Technology Subcommittee Ranking Member Doris Matsui (D-Calif.), and all 10 other Democratic Subcommittee members have penned a letter to the Chairwoman of the FCC expressing their strong support for a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking to “promote transparency” by requiring disclosure when content generated by artificial intelligence is used in political advertising airing on broadcast radio or television stations.
