Hale To The Sales Chief … Of FOX’s Houston, Austin Stations

He spent 18 years at the FOX-owned television stations serving the Dallas-Fort Worth market. Starting August 26, he’ll be back at Fox Television Stations, this time as VP/Regional General Sales Manager for its broadcast properties in Houston and Austin.


Coming back to Fox for the top sales role for KRIV-26 and sibling “My20 Vision” KTXH-TV in Houston and for KTBC-7 in Austin is Jarrett Hale.

Hale will report directly to Bebel regarding the Houston stations and Doucette-Pyle for all Austin sales matters.

In a joint announcement, Bebel and Doucette-Pyle stated, “We are very pleased to welcome back Jarrett to the FOX family. His track record of success speaks volumes for what we expect him to accomplish in leading our sales teams in a fast changing, multifaceted and hyper-competitive environment.”

Most recently, Hale served as the owner, Managing Partner, and Director of Sales for Promomedia, a regional full-service advertising agency.

Hale began his 18 years at KDFW-4 and KDFI-27 in Dallas as an Account Executive, rising to National Sales Manager, Local Sales Manager, and finally, Vice President and General Sales Manager, a role he held for 12 years. He began his career in broadcasting at KETK-56 in Tyler-Longview, Tex., holding various positions from news anchor/reporter and assistant news director to Account Executive, National Sales Manager and Local Sales Manager.
