As the senior Republican on the FCC, Brendan Carr has worked with former Chairman Ajit Pai on shaping regulatory policy for broadcast media and engaging in “modernization” of its rules. Therefore, it is hardly a surprise that Carr on Tuesday released a two-page statement expressing his frustration regarding the FCC’s inaction with its largely unchanged 2018 Quadrennial Order, released to the public following the Christmas holiday.
