Coming Saturday: A New FOX News Channel Weekend Prime-Time Mix

It has been the subject of ratings declines among television industry observers ever since it parted ways with Tucker Carlson. But, does FOX News Channel have a plan to, at the very least, attract audiences on weekend evenings?

That’s the hope, as the cable TV news and political opinion network is launching a new weekend prime-time lineup on Saturday (6/3).

Megan Albano, Senior Vice President of The Five & Weekend Programming, is overseeing the changes, which will see The Big Saturday/Sunday Show become The Big Weekend Show. It will air at 7pm Eastern on Saturdays and Sundays, while FOX News Saturday Night will premiere at 10pm Eastern.

Perhaps the bigger news is that The Next Revolution will end its 9pm Eastern Sunday run, as Steve Hilton “steps back” from hosting a weekly show to focus on his new California non-partisan policy organization launching next week, FOX explains. Hilton will remain a contributor across all FOX News Media platforms; Trey Gowdy’s Sunday Night in America will move to 9pm Eastern.

The 5pm Eastern timeslot will now feature encore presentations of The Five & Fox News Saturday Night followed by The FOX Report with Jon Scott, which will remain at 6pm Eastern on weekends.

The weekend primetime lineup will see Brian Kilmeade’s One Nation air at 8pm Eastern, followed by Lawrence Jones Cross Country at 9pm Eastern.
