It’s a Class A station serving a Montana town with access to no other commercially licensed FMs while the three best-receivable AM radio stations boom in from Saskatchewan. As such, KMMR-FM has been an important information and entertainment source for those in Malta, Mont.

Pending FCC approval, serving the community will come under the purview of a new station owner.

A $280,000 payment will be made to KMMR Radio by the proposed buyer, KMMR Mustang Radio LLC.

A $16,800 escrow deposit has been made to the seller. It is being held by the broker in this transaction, Clifton Gardiner.

The seller is led by Gregory Kielb, while the buyer is headed by Rheiland Tharp.

Serving as the seller’s legal counsel is Anne Goodwin Crump of Fletcher, Heald & Hildreth.
