The National Religious Broadcasters and National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters on Monday emerged as the latest supporters of the Local Radio Freedom Act (LRFA), the non-binding resolution in Congress that has successfully served as a pledge to thwart any new performance royalty legislation from getting passed into law.
In response, pro-legislation group musicFIRST, which represents the world’s biggest record labels on Capitol Hill, claims “community broadcasters” are standing with music creators in support of the “American Music Fairness Act.”
