Along Florida’s First Coast is a cluster of radio stations that include Country WQIK, Adult R&B WSOL, and Jacksonville’s “Home for Hip-Hop and R&B Flava,” WJBT.

The stations are owned by iHeartMedia, which has just selected a new VP of Sales to oversee the company’s audio brands in Northeast Florida, which also reach the southeast tip of Georgia.

Taking the role is Adrian Warren.

He arrives from the Circle City, as he most recently served as the Digital Sales Manager/Local Sales Manager for Urban One‘s properties in Indianapolis.

“I’m thrilled to not only be joining iHeart, but to bring my experience and God-given talents to such a heritage cluster of brands,” Warren said. “WJBT, WSOL, WQIK . . .these have been dominant stations for decades in Jacksonville and in our industry, and I’m looking forward to joining the local team – in an exciting growth market – and helping to take them to the next level.”

Warren reports to iHeartMedia North Florida Area President Paul Rogers. He said, “I’m really excited to have Adrian join our leadership team here on the First Coast of Florida. His track record, personal character, and specific experience with some of the same diverse brands we represent here in Jacksonville were a perfect fit for us, and we were fortunate to get him. I’m confident he’ll help us get back to our market-leading revenue position.”

The stations comprising iHeartMedia/Jacksonville are Country WQIK-FM, Adult R&B WSOL-FM, Hip-Hop WJBT, Spanish News/Talk WFXJ-AM and W247CF at 97.3 MHz, Active Rock WWJK-FM, Top 40 WKSL-FM, and Tropical W295AZ “Rumba 106.9.”
