Airing the 2011 TEEN CHOICE AWARDS, FOX ranked #2 last night among Adults 18-49 and #1 among Adults 18-34 and Teens.
The 2011 TEEN CHOICE AWARDS posted a 1.1/3 among Adults 18-49 and earned its highest Teens ratings in three years (since 8/4/08) and its highest Male Teens rating in five years (since 8/20/06). Last night’s telecast was down -27% from last year’s telecast in the adult demo, but increased +4% year-over-year among its core Teens audience.
Last night’s TEEN CHOICE AWARDS delivered FOX’s highest rated telecast of the summer among Teens (2.8/10).
Competition
Following a repeat America’s Funniest Home Videos at 7p (1.3/4), ABC’s one-hour special Ty’s Great British Adventure posted a 1.0/3 at 8p. Repeats of Take the Money & Run (0.9/2) and Body of Proof (0.9/2) aired at 9p and 10p.
Following 60 Minutes (1.2/4), week five of CBS’ Big Brother 13 posted a 2.8/9, flat with last Sunday. At 9p, new reality series Same Name (1.6/4) was in line with its prior performance. A repeat CSI: Miami (1.2/3) finished the night at 10p.
After an original Dateline (0.5/2) at 7p and a repeat It’s Worth What? (0.7/2) at 8p, back-to-back telecasts of NBC’s Marriage Ref posted a 0.9/2 at 9pm and a 1.0/3 – up one tenth (+11%) – at 10pm.
