Wall Street’s retreat continued on Friday after a government report that retail sales were up a measly 0.4% in July. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 17 points, or 0.2%, on Friday to 10,303. Bad retail sales news is, of course, bad news for broadcasting stocks.
The RBR Radio Index was down 4.153, or 1.7%, to 260.543.
The TVBR Television Index was down 2.969, or 1.6%, to 177.956.
