Trading volume was extremely light on Monday, ahead of Tuesday’s meeting by the Federal Reserve’s policy making committee, which could signal new steps to give the economy a boost. Stock prices were nonetheless mostly higher. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 45 points, or 0.4%, to 10,699. Broadcasting stocks were mixed.
The RBR Radio Index was down 1.591, or 0.6%, to 288.553.
The TVBR Television Index was up 2.604, or 1.3%, to 202.121.
