It looked like another up day, with traders welcoming a rise in factory orders. But then came word of weak home sales and the rally faded away, producing a mixed close. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 12 points, or 0.1%, to 10,572. However, the Nasdaq Composite and S&P 500 were up slightly. Broadcasting stocks split, with radio down and TV up.
The RBR Radio Index was down 6.804, or 3.1%, to 213.120.
The TVBR Television Index was up 2.947, or 2.1%, to 142.602.
