Media Stocks Soar on Winning Wednesday

Dow Jones be damned.

It was a stellar session for media and tech stocks on Nov. 16, as retailer Target Corp. surged 6.4%, to $76.01, on strong Q3 earnings that solidly surpassed Street expectations.

Entercom soared $1.15 a share, to $15.30, while The Walt Disney Co. gained $1.42 to $99.12. Charter Communications climbed $1.79, to $261.99.

The RBR Radio Index rose 10.668, or 1.87%, to 579.995.
The TVBR Television Index rose 4.369, or 0.46%, to 945.246.

Decliners

Radio One, down 3.4%
