SCOTUS Declines To Reconsider 2008 Bankruptcy Sale of Alabama FM

Nearly 15 years ago, a Chapter 11 bankruptcy trustee for an Alabama broadcaster engineered the sale of an FM for $1.1 million. The licensee, however, had protested this sale, claiming Citizens Bank wrongly foreclosed on the FM and that it had a more robust purchase agreement in place. An Alabama federal court ruled in favor of the bank. Now, the U.S. Supreme Court has declined to consider an appeal.
