Despite lots of ups and downs, stock prices ended 2011 pretty much where the year began. The flat year ended with a down day, as continued worries about the Euro zone and the strength of the US recovery kept a lid on optimism about the New Year. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 69 points, or 0.6%, to 12,218. Broadcasting stocks ended the year with a mixed day.
The RBR Radio Index was up 7.550, or 2.5%, to 306.287.
The TVBR Television Index was down 1.149, or 0.5%, to 236.619.
