Digital Networks Gets After It With Indy Launch

The company formerly known as Luken Communications, today doing business as Get After It Media, is expanding the distribution of a group of digital multicast networks it owns by adding a low-power TV station serving Indianapolis.

WSWY-LD in Indianapolis, which uses Digital Channel 20 and has a PSIP of Channel 21, has officially adopted five “mainstay networks” associated with Get After It Media and its Digital Networks LLC operation.

It’s a market shift for the LPTV facility, which until 2020 was in Terre Haute, Ind., and had served as a Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) repeater facility.

And, it brings popular second-run diginet Retro TV to the Circle City, just two weeks after adding San Diego.

That addition came after the network in Q1 2023 already added Charleston, South Carolina; Washington, D.C.; Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas; and Des Moines, Iowa to their roster, with sights set on additional launches in the coming weeks.

One of those other launches is Indianapolis.

“Indianapolis is an amazing city and a strong market with over 1 million TV homes. We’ve been looking forward to rolling out our own station there for quite some time,” Joel Wertman, President of Digital Networks and parent company Get After it Media, commented.  “I’m so proud to continue to grow our tried and true networks, both through owned and operated stations, as well as working with great affiliates across the US.”
