In recent years, tuning to Channel 32 in Columbus, Ohio, on any TV with a digital antenna attached to it would have yielded the Movies! affiliate, with the Weigel Broadcasting diginet siblings Heroes & Icons and Start TV networks on its DT signals.

Now, the low-power TV station serving the Buckeye State’s capital region is being sold to a religious broadcaster that’s held a Time Brokerage Agreement for the facility since 2019.

According to an asset purchase agreement filed Friday with the FCC and dated January 26, Columbus TV LLC is selling WCSN-LD, with a PSIP of 32 and digital channel 26, to Word Broadcasting Inc.

The transaction is valued at $432,000. However, Columbus TV will credit Word against the purchase price a sum of $20,000, as this is an option price paid per an agreement dated March 1, 2019.

Doyle Hadden of Hadden and Associates, located near Walt Disney World in Celebration, Fla., was the exclusive broker in this deal.

Word operates WBN as “The Revival Channel.
