Earlier this week, the board members of the National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters voted to discontinue their support of a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking that would allow program origination on an FM booster.
This is the lynchpin needed for the commercialization of GeoBroadcast Solutions’ “ZoneCasting” technology, and likely the longterm fiscal success of the company led by Chris Devine.
While NABOB has withdrawn its support, GBS can now look to the “IBBA” as a replacement backer of the NPRM.
