The Philadelphia Flyers and the Chicago Blackhawks will meet in the Stanley Cup Finals beginning 5/29 at United Center.  Two of the nation’s premier sports stations, Sportsradio 610 WIP Philadelphia and 670 The Score Chicago will participate in a joint live broadcast simulcast on both stations on 5/28 from 10:00AM-12:00Noon.

WIP Midday hosts Anthony Gargano and Glen Macnow along with 670 The Score’s Dan McNeil and co-host Matt Spiegel will help get fans of both teams psyched up for the best of  7 game series for the Stanley Cup.  This special simulcast broadcast will be held at Murphy’s Bleachers, 3653 North Sheffield Avenue, Chicago, just 50 feet from historic Wrigley Field.  The broadcast can also be streamed live on www.610wip.com or www.670thescore.com.

WIP’s Midday host Anthony Gargano could hardly contain his excitement when asked about the match-up.  “Isn’t this what we live for? Philadelphia versus Chicago. Two great sports towns, food towns, character towns. Two O-12 (Original 12) teams playing for Lord Stanley’s Cup.  It’s time for two legendary radio stations to drop the gloves. We’re feeling Flyerish.”

“We look forward to welcoming our guests from Philadelphia.  To make them feel at home, we’ve ordered fog similar to the one that blinded Randall Cunningham and the Eagles in the NFC Divisional Playoff Game in ’88.  And an attitude,” added Dan McNeil of The Score.

This Saturday’s Flyers Blackhawks game broadcast can be heard live on 610 WIP and can be streamed live on www.610wip.com at 8:00PM ET.
