Why Did This Analyst Lower His 2017 Growth Rate?

Brian Wieser, Senior Research Analyst-Advertising at New York-based Pivotal Research Group, revised his 2017 forecast from 2.8% growth to 2% growth.

Why the diminished growth?

Wieser says 2016 turned out to be a stronger year than his forecasts predicted, and that, looking ahead, “uncertainty is the only certainty.”
