WideOrbitWideOrbit, provider of advertising management software, says this latest release of its program management solution enables true network and syndicated schedule management across both corporate and local markets, and  introduces several new features and add-on modules, and is being offered for the first time as a stand-alone solution.

WO Program v25Q provides a comprehensive program management solution for media companies that includes content management, scheduling for both linear and non-linear (VOD), rights and all finance management for linear and non-linear, promotional management, secondary event management, and continuity and log management. The latest version introduces the new WO Program configurable launcher that provides an even greater customization and personalization to the user experience. It also delivers streamlined browser and navigator functions, ease-of-use with search prototypes, and one-click export and print capabilities. WO Program v25Q introduces several new features, including a new administration structure and the following modules:

— Quota Reporting: Quota Reporting provides the foundation for compliance reporting and analysis, ensuring compliance with all conditions of a license. The Quota Reporting module serves as an interactive dashboard addressing requirements for compliance and conditions of license reporting.

— Financial Management: The Financial Management module delivers all financial information for contracts in an easy-to-review tab page, including all run and amortization details, to ensure accuracy in decision making and reporting.

— Media Management: Material trafficking and asset management are core aspects in the operational workflow. The Material Management module provides the foundation for material ordering and delivery, as well as the asset details required to better automate your programming workflows.

WO Program is available as an integrated solution with WO Traffic, WideOrbit’s leading media sales, traffic and revenue management solution, and WO Network, the company’s comprehensive solution for managing network ad sales and commercial operations, or as a stand-alone solution.

“Programming costs are the largest expense for a media operation. The strategic management and compliance of the scheduling and rights of all owned, acquired and produced content has significant financial impact,” said Eric R. Mathewson, Founder and CEO of WideOrbit. “WO Program allows our clients to make the strategic and operational decisions that can streamline their operations by providing a comprehensive solution that delivers true centralization while allowing for corporate, regional and local workflows. WO Program is now managing the programming operations for over 125 channels and we’re excited for more clients to experience the tremendous benefits.”

WideOrbit will be providing demonstrations of WO Program and all of its solutions at the 2013 NAB Show in booths N5129 and N5829 in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, April 8-11.
