The telecommunications category is an important one for radio stations when it comes to advertisers, and growth opportunities. How big is telecom, or cellular services, or internet providers?
It works for radio, the RAB says. That’s why the next live presentation in the radio sales advocacy group’s “Radio Works” initiative is devoted to the category.
On December 14 at 1pm Eastern, Consumer Technology Association (CTA) Director of Thematic Research Brian Comiskey will participate in “Radio Works for Telecom/Cellular/Internet.”
CTA is the trade association representing the $505 billion U.S. consumer technology industry and the organizers of CES.
During the presentation, open to RAB members, Comiskey will provide an overview of the technology marketplace, including the consumer mindset throughout the pandemic and the current economic landscape.
Comiskey will also share key trends and themes to keep top of mind in the next 12 to 18 months. The RAB says this intelligence should help radio sellers to better plan for their local clients.
Also presenting is Cumulus Media employee Bill Schultz, a senior account executive in Wisconsin. He will share a telecom client case study.
