If there was an individual one could count on as an absolute expert of the Toledo, Ohio, radio market, it would have likely been, until late April, Kellie Holeman-Szenderski. From September 1991 through May 1, she made her way up the ranks to Market President, a role gained seven years ago at what is today iHeartMedia Toledo.
Holeman-Szenderski recently transferred to iHeart’s Greensboro-Winston Salem station group. Now, iHeart has named her successor in Northwest Ohio.
Shosh Abromovich is now Market President for the Toledo stations that are owned and operated by iHeartMedia.
She will work closely with the programming, business and sales teams and will oversee the markets on-air and digital programming operations as well as create new business and revenue growth opportunities.
Abromovich reports to Paul Corvino, Region President for iHeartMedia Detroit, just up I-75 from Toledo.
Abromovich was previously SVP for the Toledo stations. Before that, she served as an account executive, local sales manager and general sales manager for iHeartMedia in Detroit, where she began her career as an AE.
“Shosh has done an excellent job at leading our sales teams in the Toledo market,” Corvino said. “She truly understands the value of iHeart’s full spectrum of services and unmatched assets, including radio, podcast, digital streaming, social media and mobile as well as OTT in relation to creating effective branding and results-driven marketing programs.”
“It is a privilege to lead this dynamic and multi-talented iHeartMedia team,” said Abromovich. “iHeartMedia’s unparalleled assets support, entertain and inform the Toledo/Northwest Ohio community. I am fortunate to be surrounded by talented and dedicated people who will continue to lead and grow our valued partnerships in this incredible city.”
